Speaker Bagbin Launches Probe into MP’s Alleged Galamsey Involvement

Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, has announced the commencement of an official investigation into allegations against a sitting Member of Parliament (MP) concerning illegal mining activities, commonly referred to as “galamsey.” This move underscores Parliament’s dedication to tackling environmental degradation and upholding the integrity of its members while reinforcing its commitment to good governance and the rule of law.
