Remorseful Shata Wale asked Former President John Mahama for Forgiveness

Rev. Dr. Lawrence Tetteh, Founder and President of Worldwide Miracle Outreach, recently revealed an incident involving Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale and former President John Mahama. According to Dr. Tetteh, while onboard a flight to London on Saturday, April 27, Shatta Wale approached him and sought his assistance to apologize to the former President for certain derogatory remarks he had made about him in the past.
Dr. Tetteh recounted how he led Shatta Wale to meet John Mahama, who happened to be on the same flight to London. During the encounter, Shatta Wale knelt before the former President and pleaded for forgiveness for his past comments.
Describing the moment, Dr. Tetteh mentioned that John Mahama graciously accepted Shatta Wale’s apology and even joked about the situation, calling him a “bad boy” for involving the respected man of God in the apology process.
Shatta Wale in return expressed gratitude to Dr. Tetteh for facilitating the reconciliation after the trio had safely arrived in London. Dr. Tetteh commended Shatta Wale for showing remorse and urged the younger generation to emulate this spirit of respect towards the country’s leaders.
Dr. Tetteh recounts the incident while granting an interview on GTV on Thursday, May 2. “So I held his hands and I went to President John Mahama with him, it was on the plane publicly then Shatta Wale went on his knees and John Mahama said I have forgiven you, and then Wale started crying,” he said. The revered man of God said the Dancehall artiste earned his respect for his actions and urged the younger generation to eschew this kind of spirit – to respect the leaders of the country.
